Group Walks

Join an open group on some of our guided days. A great opportunity to join a group of like minded individuals and have a day in the hills!

Perfect for individuals looking tackle their first munro or to gain experience with some of the harder ones. Or if you just want a good day out in hills.

Although this isn’t bespoke to the individuals, Mark our experienced mountain leader will work with the group to come up with the best hills for the group.

Get in touch here to register interest for one of our group days and we will be in touch with some options.

Multi-day Adventures

Scotland’s mountains really do offer an amazing playground, and the best way to immerse yourself in them is to spend multiple days exploring. Joining up hill days or doing a long distance trek really turns a trip into a proper adventure.

Either camping or staying in bothies, by linking days together you can access some of Scotland’s most remote and stunning scenery, and bag some of those hard to get to munros!

Important Stuff

Physical activities in the Scottish outdoors naturally come with some risk that we all need to accept. Hill Walking is no different and it’s important to be aware that although your guide with appropriate qualifications (and first aid training), hillwalking can involve a risk of injury or even death. Before starting your day you will be asked to sign a disclaimer to state you are aware of the risks involved. Please see our full Terms and Conditions here.

Please also be aware that although there is no specialist equipment needed to join a guided walk (ropes and harness etc), there is a requirement for some basic kit. Please see our kit list for more info.

About me

Mad about the mountains and what Scotland has to offer. There are very few corners of this incredible country that Mark hasn’t visited. When he’s not climbing munros (he’s only got 6 left!), he can be found casting a fly on one of Scotland’s famous Salmon rivers. With experience as a fly fishing guide in Russia, Mark is currently working towards his casting instructors qualification, and hopes to offer guided fishing in Scotland very soon.

Mark is a qualified Summer Mountain Leader, and member of the Mountain Training Association. In line with the qualification Mark has a valid 16 hour outdoor first aid certificate and has public and professional liability insurance. For more information on the qualification please go the MTA website, or Scotch on the Rocks, who Mark trained and qualified with.
