Kit List

It’s really important that you have the correct kit for a day out in the hills. Weather can change quickly in Scotland’s mountain environments and we need to be prepared for all eventualities. A good waterproof shell, appropriate warm layers (not cotton), hat & gloves and a reliable pair of good walking boots that have been worn in, are all an absolute must have.

In emergencies a mobile phone, blizzard bag, first aid kit, warm clothes and some sugar could save a life, so its always good practice to carry these. Of course with Sea River Hill your guide will be first aid trained and carry appropriate first aid, emergency equipment and group shelters.

We have pulled together the below list which is appropriate for any advertised days, but does not include equipment / kit required for winter days. We have limited kit available to borrow, so please get in touch well in advance to check if you need to loan anything. Please note if you turn up without any of the items the guide may not let you partake in the activity and there will be no refund given.
